What do you wish to research?
The NYSOTA Research Committee will assist you in designing a study of Occupational Therapy Assessment or Treatment. Apply individually or by submitting a group proposal. Several clinicians, faculty, students or hospitals may collaborate to design a joint study. All applicants must be NYSOTA members, clinicians or faculty. Apply at any time.
GOAL FOR GRANTS
- Evidence based practice is needed to support funding of occupational therapy by third party payers
GRANT AMOUNT
- Each research grant award is worth $500
APPROVAL PROCESS
- Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval
- Research chair approval based on official criteria
- NYSOTA Board approval of research grant proposal
