Join Weill Cornell Medical College and the NY State Consortium Centers of Excellence with the Tourette Association of America for a workshop on Tourette Syndrome and Associated Disorders in the Classroom for all educational professionals working with a child with Tourette or a tic disorder.

One of the main focuses will be bridging the educational disparities in Tourette Syndrome. This symposium will provide an overview of Tourette Syndrome and an in-depth discussion of the co-morbid conditions that frequently exist with TS.

We will also be including a plethora of strategies and accommodations for working with these students in a classroom setting and introducing participants to a Functional Behavioral Assessment Workbook designed specifically for students with TS and other neurological disorders.

This will be an interactive and very practical workshop for regular and special education teachers, school psychologists, school social workers, school counselors, school nurses, OTs, Speech Language Therapists and Administrators. Participants will receive Certificates of Attendance and/or CEUs for attending this workshop.

If you live too far to attend this workshop in person, we are also offering it via live stream. Choose the Zoom option during the registration process.
