Occupational Therapist: one who has met the educational and qualifying standards set by AOTA Occupational Therapy Assistant: one who has met the educational and qualifying standards set by AOTA New Graduate - OT: one who has just graduated from an entry-level OT program and is eligible for 50% off full dues for the first year after graduation New Graduate - OTA: one who has just graduated from an entry-level OTA program and is eligible for 50% off full dues for the first year after graduation Student of Occupational Therapy: one who is currently enrolled in an approved or accredited entry-level OT or OTA program Retired: retired members are those aged 65 and over who are no longer working full time (they may work for 20 hours per week or less) Associate: an individual who is interested in promoting occupational therapy and is not eligible for membership in any other category Sustaining: one who is eligible for membership in the Association and whose interest prompts her/him to make a larger annual contribution for its support Non-Member ($0): Please register as a non-member if you plan to attend NYSOTA hosted/sponsored continuing education. You will have access to your CE credits through a web profile. Non-Member Student ($0): Please register as a non-member student if you plan to attend NYSOTA hosted/sponsored continuing education. Honorary ($0): a lifetime membership which is conferred on those who have performed distinguished service in occupational therapy to be determined by the Executive Board
