To ensure the health and safety of our members and attendees, this year's Conference will be a completely virtual event. We've partnered with Whova to reimagine Conference in a way that will bring community spirit and collaborative energy to an inspiring and online space. Create a personalized agenda, engage in sessions on timely topics, join discussions on the Community Board, and participate in breakout groups.

Registration will close on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 11:59 PM.

Registration includes real-time access to high-quality continuing education on timely, pertinent topics. The schedule will be similar to past conferences where you choose from a variety of Short Courses, Conversations that Matter, and Poster Presentations.

Trunk Comedy Pandemonium: Don't forget your ticket to this special event when you register.
Join us for an evening of trunk comedy where we will use laughter to process the worldwide pandemic. David Melchionne-Martinez, NYSOTA's Vice President, will harken back to his former life as a stand-up comedian to make light of our shared experiences. Using ridiculous costumes and props, David will interpret the stories that NYSOTA's practitioners have submitted about their pandemic experiences. That lady at the grocery store who argues with you about social distancing as she crashes into a display of canned goods? That student who runs out of the Zoom call and all you can hear are crashes and bangs? That first time you got a UPS delivery vs. the one you got last week? Let's laugh about all things pandemic, from OT to everyday life. In addition to a much-needed dose of laugh-medicine, this event is benefitting NYSOTPAC, so every ticket goes to a great cause!

Prompt:  Do you have a pandemic story or scenario so ridiculous that you just HAVE to laugh about it? Anything from going to the grocery store to navigating OT practice, nothing is off limits for a hilarious trunk comedy interpretation! Email your answer to by October 30.

Trunk Comedy Pandemonium will take place on Friday, November 13, from 7:00 - 8:00 PM. The event requires an additional ticket that can be added to your registration. Trunk Comedy Pandemonium tickets are $10 for members and $20 for non-members. Admission fees and other funds raised during this one-hour add-on event will go directly to NYSOTPAC (New York State Occupational Therapy Political Action Committee) for political advocacy.

You can purchase single raffle entries, or save money by buying in bulk. We are raffling off some exciting Deluxe prizes at this year's conference, including a $150 Amazon gift certificate, an iPad, and signed sports memorabilia. Funds raised will help fund NYSOTA's legislative advocacy efforts.

Only 500 raffle entries will be sold. First priority will be given to conference registrants. Through October 15th, entries will be sold to conference registrants only. Beginning October 16, non-attendees of conference will be eligible to purchase raffle entries too. Raffle entry prices are as follows: 1 entry for $10, 4 entries for $35, and 10 entries for $75.

Cancellation Policy

In the event that you need to cancel your registration, you must notify NYSOTA by email ( by October 20, 2020. Cancellations received by the deadline are eligible for a refund of registration fees less a 15% processing fee. Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund. Refunds will not be available for registrants who are "no shows." Individuals who register for Conference and do not attend are eligible to access recorded presentations and earn CE credit through the end of December.
