The protection of our profession through our legislative agenda is one of our top priorities. As THE State Association for Occupational Therapy we provide a voice for our members in matters that affect our license, our practice and our ability to provide the best services we can to our consumers.

NYSOTA retains a paid lobbyist to represent us and also utilizes volunteer power and expertise to further our legislative plans.

Our diligence and dedication moved the Continuing Competency bill from a hope to reality.
